About
Brett Nicholas
Brett is a native Phoenician and graduate of Pinnacle High School. After high school he attended Gonzaga University and University of Missouri, where he played baseball and studied business finance. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers and went on to play 8 seasons, including two with the Major League team. Brett also played for the San Diego Padres, Colorado Rockies, and Chicago White Sox organizations. During his time with the Rangers, Brett was an active member of the Texas Rangers Community Outreach Foundation where he participated in their program visits to facilities such as childrens hospitals and military bases and assisted with the inner-city Baseball Youth Academy and as Miracle League volunteer. After his playing career, Brett returned to the Valley where he received his EMT certification and his Real Estate License.
Rich Hodgeson
Rich is a native Phoenician and graduate of Paradise Valley High School. After receiving a degree from Ottawa University, he chose a career in law enforcement here in Arizona. Over the course of ten years, Rich worked with several law enforcement agencies including Maricopa County, Mesa Police Department, U.S. Marshals, and the FBI. During this time Rich also enjoyed serving as a youth pastor at Paradise Springs Community Church. After leaving law enforcement, Rich became a licensed real estate agent and enjoyed great success with a Southeast Valley brokerage before joining Boulders Realty Advisors /Remax Fine Properties.
Created in 2008, ReStar Advisors is a private organization comprised of highly credentialed, principled, and motivated individuals who provide advisory, brokerage, and investment services to discriminating owners and users of commercial real estate.

Jim Zemezonak, CRE
Prior to starting Boulders Realty Advisors in 1999 in Scottsdale Arizona, Jim served as the Managing Director at Landauer & Associates, a national real estate firm owned by AEGON Insurance. Jim formed Boulders Realty Advisors when the Landauer offices were sold to Grubb and Ellis in the late 1990’s. Preceding his involvement in Landauer he co-founded the Financial Services Group of Frain, Camins and Swartchild (Chicago), a leading independent, brokerage group that is now CBRE. He served as a partner during his time at both FC&S and Kennedy Midwest, a pre-eminent real estate auction firm. In total, Jim has been involved in over $2 billion in transactions as a broker. He is a CRE (Counselor of Real Estate), graduated from UW-Madison (Real Estate) and sits on various boards.
